Next Time on "Conference"...

This last weekend we watched General Conference for our church. For those who aren't familiar, there are four televised sessions over two days. (Or streamed online for those of us who still want to watch from home but are too cheap to pay for cable - maybe because we're too snobby to watch much TV or more likely because we're geeky and afraid TV might cut into our beloved computer time.)

I am wondering though if despite the fact that M and I have no love for the tube, maybe, just maybe, my kids watch too much TV because they kept asking when the next "episode" of Conference was going to be on. Hmmm...

I don't know, but I can hardly wait for next "season."

You could always move to utah and have it be on NBC, and every other channel there is.

We never had cable either but at our new place not only is cable included in the rent, but DVR is. Conference on DVR was the best thing EV-ER. Pausing conference. Oh the joy!

I don't even have to wait to watch it again until this season comes out on DVD ; )

That's cute. :) I love it but always feel a little zoned out after 8 hours of TV in one weekend--probably about what I get in a month.

Yeah, too bad they don't actually give you a teaser of the next episode. Do I really want to see that one? Oh, I have already heard from [whoever]. And I think they really need to work harder on the final episode. It is two hours long, but they don't leave on the standard cliff-hanger note. What's to make sure I watch next season?

High five to someone else who is too cheap for cable TV but still dishes out for broadband internet access.
