My Alpha Gatherer in Training

M's grandparents gave Claire and Scott some money for Christmas so that M's parents could take the kids shopping to pick out something. A couple days after Christmas, the kids went to Target with their grandparents to spend their money.

When I met back up with Claire afterward, I asked her what she got. She told me she got the game Cooties and then in the same breath announced, "It was only $5!" Every time we talked about what she got, I'm pretty sure she spent more time being excited about the fact that the game was only $5 than she did actually being excited about the game or the other toy she bought.

I wonder where she got the idea that after shopping you should come home and brag about the great deals you got? Well . . . at least she has her priorities straight???

You, Claire, and Janssen.

Here I come to make some comment about how that is the true way to shop and find Bart has already ratted me out.

Oh well.

When my daughter Audrey was about 2, she told me about some purchase that Sarah had made by saying "We found it at Kohl's."

She had to have gotten that from her shop-a-holic mother, because I get tired from shopping after 20 minutes one store.

Madison has recently expressed interest in always wanting to pay the cashies, and although sometimes I let her when I have cash... I'm not ready to let her be swiping my CC...

Also today we went out and both of the big girls seem to know their size, and how to find clothes that fit them, and heck, Madison was even running around Old Navy looking for a shirt that matched! Seriously.... kids.

I voted on your stand mixer... I REALLY wanted to vote "other" since, you know me, I DO like to cause trouble. But, in my best interest for you, I know that you of all people would be in love with a stainless steel appliance.

So I took one, just for you, go with the clean, sterile, stainless steel, you won't regret it!
